Bonding Help Please :)

Hi, in two weeks time we're going to try boar dating my Oreo with a handsome fella called Alex from woodgreen (rescue). I know they will help with advice and tips to use if our boys get on and I take Alex home. I was just wondering what I need to do at home to get things ready for Alex coming home (fingers tightly crossed he will be). Do I clean out Oreos hutch or leave it and let them sort out smells? I've read the bonding guild on here which was helpful I know I need to have lots of safe places for them to hide with more then one exit, and two of everything (including two travel boxes), I'm well on the way to sorting those things out. Is there anything else I should know or do when I bring a new bonding boar home.

I'd clean the hutch so it doesn't smell of Oreo, could cause dominance problems.

Thank you I will have a 6month old who has just started his hormone stage and our new fella would be just coming to the end of it at 13 months.

I would agree with cleaning out the hutch and letting them meet on neutral ground. Exciting stuff!
