Hi there, I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice. I have 2 male guinea pigs and they are approximately 6 months old (rescued so not 100% sure) they were fully bonded when we got them and get on great. One of them loves human contact but the other still runs and hides at the slightest touch (he is getting slightly better but very tiny steps at a time). I know someone that her pigs have just had babies and I was wondering what the chances are of being able to bond a third male with my two?
Is it a good idea to bond another male with already bonded males? Should I wait longer until my jumpy piggie is a bit happier with us? Do you think it could help him having another friend?
Any advice would be useful, I love having them in the house and they love exploring and I can't wait to get them outside on the grass this summer... I just don't want to risk them fighting as I don't have room to have 2 cages if they don't bond.
Thank you in advance
