Well today was the day! and gosh what a day! Well we set up a pen that Fi brought round, and all three were put in at the same time and Furby went on the attack mode and was chasing and nipping Jive, there was lots and lots of teeth chattering! Cottonbud decided to just scream in the hope nobody would come near her, she is such a wimp. It took over 2 hours before furby and jive could go anywhere near each other without teeth chattering. Furby also would not let cottonbud near jive to make friends! If it had been just me i would have given up! but eventually they all settled down enough to eat some hay and veggies

THEN it was time for humping and everyone was at it and the girls kept peeing at jive was very funny! lol after another hour or so we put them in their revamped cage

After lots of exploring all tired out and had a nap, Cottonbud after being a super wimp to begin with is now harassing Jive and chasing and mounting then he chases and mounts her and Furby is keeping well out of it! So glad they are all together! Phew!

Yay! So glad all three have accepted each other. I'm sure they'll settle down soon and become the best of friends xx>>>

Got to say that I LOVE your cage set up! I really wish we had space for something like that drool

I'm so pleased it went well :) Sounds like an experience that's for sure!

I have to say I love your cage - it's brilliant!

Well it sounds like it ended well which is good, I'm sure they'll soon be firm friends. Cage looks fantastic too :)

Wow what an experience that must have been! And here I am sitting worrying about my boys chattering and chasing, least it doesn't involve peeing and humping anymore!

Glad to hear it all was a success story in the end and that cage is immense! So very jealous :p

Sounds like you had a LIVELY day! :))

Thanks for the picutres! I'm sure that Jive is in piggy heaven right now!

Hopefully, they will all settle down happily together eventually. The first few seasons can stir up some more drama - as long as you know and are braced for it. Eventually, things should calm down nicely, though.

realise the humping and chasing is the "norm" just hope we have no reverting to chase and biting never seen piggies move so fast! Furby was really horrid! Cottonbud just sat in the corner and cried, i had to live the room for a bit...

Nerys was crying for ages in her corner when I introduced them as well. What a wuss! Furby is the one you need to keep an eye on, but hopefully, she'll tolerate Jive more after she's been in season. Dominant sows sometimes don't like competition for affection...

PS: I didn't say how much I love their piggy palace!

Yes, bonding is scary... I'm so glad it worked out, I know you've been impatient! :) Right now I can't wait to get home (on the bus now) and see my four in the home cage!

I think Furby gave Jive such a beating up he is giving her a wide berth! He is in no doubt where he is with her! He has attempted to jump on her but then he runs away lol rolleyes

Yes definitely scary and not for the faint hearted!:(|)

Well done for getting them bonded. I am sure they will be the best of friends now.

What a magnificent palace they have. Glad the bonding is going well.

Congratulations keeping everything crossed it continues to go well. I love your set up hun very nice indeed.

Great to hear it went well and you persevered! Their cage is fab too, plenty for them to do and explore in there. :)

It would never have succeeded if Fi who runs the local rescue was not overseeing as i would have wimped out after 2 minutes with furby beating jive up and cottonbud just screaming he head off! the cage is 2 x6 on the bottom and 1 x8 on the top which i suppose is quite big but after being housebound for so long i KNOW they will appreciate any extra space you can get and a change of scene!

Ah well done for getting them together and being brave enough to let them sort it all out!

And I LOVE your cage set up... if I had room enough for something like that I can see myself being completely over run by piggies! :))

Nope will never have anymore than 3! Jive was too special to give up 2 is plenty for me! We are still having the odd chatter but we have lots and lots of rumbling!

Also I was expecting lots of boar stink but was actually no smell?

I've not noticed any from Mork either. I think we're lucky! Orson smells on his own!
