Is there any chance I'd be able to bond two pairs of boars?

I have two boars and rescued two today. The only way I'd be able to keep them is if I could bond them. Their new enclosure will be 21 square feet when built.

Sorry but the likelihood is that this wouldn't work. I honestly wouldn't try it. You could end up with some nasty bites from fighting and also it could destabilise the bond between your existing pair. If you arrive unable to keep two separate pairs please would you consider surrendering the rescued pair to a recognised animal and guinea Pig rescue so that they can find a permanent new home together. Where about are you situated?

Of course I would, I'd only surrender them to a recognised rescue that carried out home checks before rehoming any animal. I'll see what I can figure out. I might be able to split the enclosure and keep both pairs separate. It's 7ft long and 3ft wide but if I halved it I don't think 3.5ft x 3ft would be enough for each pair.

I am currently still bonding a 4 boars together. You can read their story here... And Then There Were Four...
In all honesty, I wouldn't do it again. My 4 aren't actively trying to kill each other anymore, but there is still a lot of chattering. I think a boar group IS possible, with the right boars and a whole lot of space. I currently have the equivalent of a 8x2 c&c together in an L shape, but I'll be expanding to a 12x2 equivalent when we move next month.

Hmmmm I might have to re-think. I wonder if we could build a slightly smaller enclosure than the 21sq ft one next to or opposite the one we're building for my boys when we move them to the utility once the weather warms up and we've re-insulated it? I always planned on the RSPCA fostering them for me and re-homing them but I'm really attached already.
