I have just adopted a neutered boy and little girl to join my existing group of three girls. They are still establishing who is boss and I am a nervous wreck. I know they are just nipping and chasing and this is perfectly normal but I worry the second I turn my back on them they will attack each other. I have had to remove my other group from the room because they were setting each other off. Every time Reuben rumbled at his girls it would make the new lad rumble and chase his girls. Louisa, who is top pig, seems to be having a go at him for chasing the other girls rather than when he bothers her. She lunged at him a little while ago and sent him tearing into the others who scattered. I have put in more hideys so everyone has somewhere to hide away from the others. Louisa and Francesca are both looking after new baby Scarlett which is nice. I just wish bonding didn't make me so worried.

Once the boy learns his place all will be fine. The neutered boar always thinks he is boss but it is the girls who truly rule the roost. Once he is accepted he becomes very much the peacekeeper....x

In my gang, Mooli is very much in charge and as for being a peace keeper, he causes the trouble! Lol.

In my other group Nico was the peace maker and Tara and Charlotte fell out when we lost him. Reuben keeps the peace now and knows who will tolerate his advances and who won't. By the lack of thundering paws upstairs for the last hour either they have eaten each other or settled their differences and gone to bed, hopefully the latter. I still need to name my new lad, I tried Toby but I'm not sure if it really suited him.
