Bonding question.

Bonding two babies poses no problem, as long as you apply the usual rules. The only thing that speaks against it is that they will hit the big hormones together, but whether they make through or not depends as much on the mix of characters as on the age.

We have bonded a few piggies already so I know the rules regarding that side of it. Thanks. Do you know if it is ok to bond a pair of boars, mixed ages, with a baby boar?

I have a baby teddy boar you see and I want to bond him with another boar but just exploring our options.

In theory you can but a trio is more unbalanced than a pairing & you can run the risk of upsetting the original pairing by introducing the baby but having said that all may go well, it's purely down to the personalities of all the boars :)

There are quite a few trios on here - just give them lots of space and time and have an eye out for the original pair starting to get into trouble with each other.

There is always the risk that you may have fallouts (so you need to have the space for three separate boars if all goes haywire), but generally, a baby boy is a bit less of a risk, as he doesn't trigger the hierarchy/territory fights as much as an older boar would. It depends a lot on how chilled the older pair is.
