Senior Guinea Pig
Not piggy bonding this time but human/piggy bonding. Due to health issues and some pretty traumatic times this year I haven't been able to devote lots of time to the piggies not that they have suffered as I always make sure they have what they need.
Poppy and Lily are both still timid so, as it's a mild day, I cooked down the kitchen to outdoor temperature and plonked myself on the fleece blanket with a packet of spinach to hand out the goodies.
I'm happy to say both lily and Poppy were quickly coming running up to me and taking leaves out of my hand. Lily even copied daisy and Donald in climbing on to my leg. I have to say, getting to spend this time with them has really helped shift the dark cloud over my life a little.
