Hi Everyone

We have two 4 month old G-pigs (sows) and one is so laid back happy to sit with you, falls asleep on you, but the other one seems to be on constant alert!

Any tips on how to help make her feel safe and loved, not sure we can show her more love as they are 2 very pampered piggy's.

Many thanks
SneezeyDee

As a general rule piggies don’t really like being cuddled and touched as they are prey animals. However, some pigs tolerate it more than others and all piggies are different, it could just be that one of your piggies likes it and the other doesn’t. Four months is also not a very long time it took a couple of years before one of my piggies was fully comfortable with me. I’m sure your pig does feel safe and loved she is just being a bit more cautious as that is her natural instincts, we would love to see some pigtures of your girls!

thank you, these are our second pair of piggies, but we’ve not had them from babies like these.
Takes some adjusting 😁

its quite normal. This is likely just the pig’s character and it may never change.

one of mine is more outgoing and the other is more anxious and they’ve been with me for over two years
