Hi all, last week I adopted a little lady that had lost her companion, following advice I kept her in a cc cage alongside my herd of 3 for a week. We have tried this morning to allow them to meet without barriers in a neutral space with veggies to occupy them. This didn't seem to go well with the new piggie becoming quite the bully! We separated them again and will keep trying but it's filling me with anxiety and dread! I don't want any of them to get hurt, any advice would be appreciated. TIA.

Cornering them, head on mouth open, lots of noise, I know it's probably normal but I'll admit it upsets me so I separate in fear that it could escalate. My 3 are sisters so I've never had to bond before

You’d expect to see chasing etc - the mild dominance behaviours in the guides I linked in (and in these cases you do not separate as it interrupts the bonding) but cornering them open mouthed does not sound very good I’m afraid.
My guess would be fear aggression (complete overreaction due to being scared). If it is that, she may settle given time living alongside them and you may be able to try another bonding in the future, but you may need to be prepared that the bonding won’t work.

How old are they all?

My 3 are 2 years old and she is thought to be between 2- 3.
