I know we have covered this a few times but as its only a wheek away I could do with a recap. My piggies are in a shed they are all with another piggy and a group of 6 BUT I have one on his own will he be ok?

I am going to put a radio down in the shed to drown out the noise a little and I will be down there too If I think its too much I will bring them in but then I have the whole indoors is warm outside is freezing thing.

All tips greatly appreciated!

The radio is a great idea. Do you have windows in your shed? You could put a black bin bang on the window to take away and light from the rockets.

Glad I brought mine in today, we've had a few bangs here tonight! :(

i always bring mine in, its too scary in the shed for them all my 5 girls live together in the shed but freak with fireworks, i put them in my utility room as its not amazingly warm in there like the rest of the house so they dont get too warm being inside and then go back out where its cold :)

Bin bang...LOL My typos are getting worse of course I meant bag! :D

Lmao! will do the bin bang thing!
we have had them every night for the past few weeks so I think they are getting used to it!

We've just had a loud one here :o first night of them. Usually we don't get them at all! I'm now looking around for a bonfire party on Sat or Sun as I don't want the pigs alone next Monday (I'll be at college, bunked off tonight, too knackered...lol) but Peter will be here so he will watch them for me.

Sunshine squeaked really loudly at them so I've put the light on incase anymore start!

Mine aren't bothered. They live by a railway line anyway, and are used to loud noises. I won't bother with doing anything different.

Mine aren't bothered for the most part, there's usually a few rumbles when the first fireworks start then its back to eating ::) I've only had one who was really disturbed by fireworks but she didn't like the sound of rain either.

Bin bag is fabbo tip - will put one up tonight. I live behind a primary school and they sometimes have a display in the playground! Yikes!

We have have had a couple around us but when the shed door is closed you can't even hear them, might put a radio down there though just incase O0 and the windows are covered with curtains lol ;D

whilst on the subject - slighty off topic..anyone know how to chill a dog out when they bang? my dog is really scared of all the bangs she tuns upstairs and hides under the bed, and lies there shaking (she has bad nerves as it is) its a shame, because no matter how much we try she wont come out lol and then when she gets up the courage to antoher goes 'BANG!'
