As it WAS so hot the other day, I thought it was time to give my Sheltie girl, Bonnie, a hair cut to help her keep cool. Here are the Before and After photos.
Do you think I have a future in hair-dressing?

Cute! You've done a much better job than I have done with my sheltie girl. My poor girls haircut looks awful! :P

A bless, she is beautiful. You've done a much better job than I used to do on my Arty (sadly gone over the bridge).

Love her colours! Great haircut too. I have a grey sheltie boy. His hair is always overgrown within 2 months. As it is very hot here except for 3 months, he needs a haircut every 2nd month. When I got him from the shelter he was rather matted at the butt end. I did cut out the mats but the rest of the haircut didn't go so well. I managed to find a piggy groomer who comes out to the house, cuts nails for the 4 boys at about 15 pounds & then every 2nd month does Donny's hair for another 15 pounds. She has one of those mobile vans with electric hook up & everything. Wish my Shi Tzu poochie would co-operate with her. But the silly thing barks at everyone trying to protect me. End up having to take her to the groomer where I can leave her every 6 weeks at about a cost of 35 pounds! Don't really like long haired animals that need constant haircuts but I happened to find her at the RSPCA & she was the only small dog they had. I've had big dogs in the past but at my age have discovered they are far too powerful for me now. So 4 little guinea pigs and a small poochie are perfect for me at the moment.

Awwwwwww, pretty lady has visited the salon. What a cutie
