bore dating aids...

hey everyone...
i heard the other day that some rescues are in need of some cuddly toys for bore dating...
i missed the car boot this morn. to go looking on the cheap...
but...
i do have sock pigs... :))
i can make these on a huge scale as they only take me 5 mins each to make...
so if any rescues think there what they need then please P.M. me and i'll send some down once i've made some... :))

heres some pics....
(these ones are the first 3 i made so there a bit tatty looking... they dont look so unneat anymore.... :)))

erm.... if I'm honest i hadnt thought about putting them up for sale...
i suppose i could sell them for a donation to the rescues... maybe if theres a fundraiser coming up...

Hehe, that's a good idea! Let me know if you decided to go ahead with it! I'd be more than happy to buy one, especially if it's going towards the rescues :)

well...
i have yet to find the 30 odd i've got banging round the house... when i moved house i havent been able to find them since... haha....
should be able to start making some by the end of the week once i have some pennies to get the bits needed... :))
P.M. me at the end of the week and i might pop one in the post for you... ;)

i dotn have the space to move in my house...!
haha.... i just havent unpacked anything yet...rolleyes
i still have boxes packed from when i moved out of my parents house nearly 3 years ago and 2 flats and a house ago.... haha....
it takes me ages to do anything like that...!

oh and any fav colours...?

The rescue is always in need of piggy dating aids - I'm getting through so many these days with the dating service being so busy. I usually use small pig sized stuffed toys so I would imagine the socky pigs would be just right. I send each new couple home with their 'friend' or if it's really abused it goes in the bin, so I'm always in need of replacements.

Thank you for thinking of donating them, it's something that can make a big difference to the piggies and the success of their date.

its jsut something i do to pass the time when i'm bored... but if i really put my self to it i can knock them out quite quickly i'd think...
once i've got a good amount of them i'll P.M. you if you want and send them down to you...

Haha, unpacking is a nightmare! I'm one of those annoying organised people though so I know literally where everything is! It drives my OH mad! It will be exciting unpacking those boxes though, bet there's loads of stuff you've forgotten about in them! I love rummaging through our loft at home! Good luck when you get around to doing it!

Humm, not really any fav colours but it will be for my two girlie piggies so girlie colours please! Oh, and I love the stripey/hearts ones above so anything like that! THANK YOOOOOU! xx>>>

Haha, oh if I was closer I would! I used to help my friend organise her room when we were younger, I think I enjoy it a little too much :red Thank you!

i have the ability to make even the tidyest of places look like a bombs hit it.... in about 5 mins... :))

Great idea! I am sure that most rescues and many boar owners would be glad to have a boar humping toy! They look very cute indeed!

I would just leave any buttons off.
 
They look fab, sooo cute! Stupid question alert, but why are stuff toys used for boars? Is it something all boar pairs/groups should use? Mine dont have anything xx

its more for bonding i think.... but my lot all have teddies in with them... :) its for the boys to hump.... and show off with...i think.... haha.. :))
I'm sure suzy will tell you more... :)

It may be worth a try - one male I here had a teddy for 5 months before he stopped abusing it - many regular member will remember Dirrrty Herbert. LOL He continued to use it even after he was bonded, and when his cagemate hit the teenage months he also used the teddy. The boys left each other alone and didn't have any aggression problems.

Not every male will use a teddy but if they do it makes the lives of their cagemate easier.

This might be worth a try with George and Terry? Terry's 3 and George is 8 weeks.. I got Terry out the run the other day to find George 'juice' all over his long hair on his bum/back...
