Bored Guinea Pigs ? Any fun advice

Hey there guys!

I’m a new Guinea Pig mommy, I’ve had these fellas for around a week. My two boys: Curls, a 2 month old texel and Brownie a 4 week Aby. I am worried that i am not entertaining my little guy enough. They have a nice size cage, a midwestern, a playpen. I was wondering what type of activities or DIY toys will keep these piggies entertained. I don’t want to take to much space from their environment. Thank you for any help

What beautiful piggies
Tunnels are great fun for piggies, you can buy them or a cheap alternative is to get a cardboard box, cut arch shape openings in each side and the piggies can run through. Stuff tissues boxes with hay. Paper bags with the handles cut off are also fun for piggies

The best advice from me (I’ve got two 7 month old boys) is make sure they can do laps in their pen/cage. Set up a tunnel on each side, or move their hides/houses forward a bit so they can run behind them, or cut holes in the sides of a cardboard box and then turn it upside down and create a sort of course for them. Once they get to know the layout of where they are and they get excited zoomies will follow (my favourite thing in the world!)

What adorable piggies! Abyssinians are cute little aren’t they? I love my two! I would recommend getting tp and paper towel rolls after all of the toilet paper and paper towels have been used, piggies love chewing on them! Mine like it when I stuff them with hay and forage sometimes. Good luck! Your pigs are precious.
