ok so i think my piggies might be bored as they are chewing their hidey which is a cardboard box untill i get to the pet store tomorrow
as explained in prev post i aquired my piggies rather quickly so cage etc not ideal
what sort of things can i buy from pets at home for them that they will enjoy both in and out of cage...
 
Some of the best boredom breakers are free...!
Toilet roll tubes filled with hay...
Paper bags filled with hay...
Cardboard boxes filled with hay...

Just get a bit creative with the weekly Cardboard recyclables...!

Those balls are great... If you make a small gap in them and fill then with a few treats and stuff them full of hay...!
Mine devour them in about 5 seconds...!

I make some of my piggies toys.
They seem to love when I cut up cardboard tubes into shapes and hang them from their cage using bits of hay. All you have to do is cut your shapes out, use a big needle or safety pin to make a hole in the top, feed the hay through the hole and hang it up on the cage! Voila!
My pigs eat the hay and then then cardboard falls down so they can reach that to chew on. If you make loads, it gives them even more fun! :)

Home made does save so much money lol! Altho check out your local wilkos, they have a great pet range which is very cheap, their chew tubes are only £1.50!

Wilkos is great! That is where I buy my piggies food (Wagg) and lots of their bought toys. They love the seed bars that they do there!
