after my trip to Wales to pick up Pluto and Saturn ( names Dylan and Sherman) I was confronted by the boys at a terrible stage, I'd been putting them in cooling off for the past two weeks because of constant teeth chattering and general Pickering. Well poor Boris had ended up with a torn ear and cut lip. And they were still at it. As luck would have it I had a spare cage 120 ferplas , so poor Boris is now in there on his own . I can't put them together because I know from how ferocious the set to was its not going to happen. I'm running out of room now I will have to rethink the whole set up . Bjorn is in the main run, I'm going to move him to the smaller pen that Dylan and Sherman are in, so they can have more room. Feel really bad but I really can't risk taking on anymore boars as friends to them , I just hope they will be ok on their own. Will post pigtures of Dylan and Sherman later on the correct forum x so sad for the boys :( xx

Oh I'm sorry to hear they have fallen out! It's something we all as piggy owners dread :( I hopoe you manage to sort things out x

I am very sorry; it sounds like they are not getting on and likely never will!

Can you find a solution with nextdoor pens? I am using Ikea linnmon 75x150cm tables, which fit into a 4 grids wide C&C cage. That allows you a 2x4 grid C&C cage, a 2x4 ft conventional or even 2x5 ft tradional cage on top and you could arrange two 2x3 grid C&C cages on the bottom. A 2x3 gird cage has the same ground space as a 2x4 ft tradional cage and is therefore adequate for a single piggy. Your two fallen-out boys could then live alongside on the ground floor and your two bonded boys on the table? The ables allow plenty of light and access to the bottom cages. For cleaning, I just lift them slightly with my shoulders without the need to shift them. The whole setup would fit in a 110x150cm space and allow optimal long term interaction.

I so hope you can get them alongside each other in some way. If we had been able to meet yesterday I would have happily loaned you my spare big Ferplast, or I have a spare 3x2 C&C up in the attic. The forum just happened to crash at the wrong time! Good luck with everything:doh:.

IvE managed to get 4 so far their pen is in a recess so they only have one long fence but might be able to free up another 3.then just got to work on the space to put the ru n as Boris cage is on top of Bjorn sleeping quarters so no space for a run . Going charity shops tomorrow see if I can get some tables might check Ikea see how much the ones are you have. I really appreciate your help sureit will all come good in the end.xx

Just done a swap about put Dylan and Sherman in a bigger pen, bjorn is in the smaller one. I've been looking at murray and Darius pen and I could easily fit boris along the bottom of the pen seperate of course, so he can still interact. My question is would it cause problems to murray and Darius having another boar near them? I can't physicaly put boris near bjorn at the minute. I know how piggies work so any advise please xx

No, after some blustering, the boars should be OK as next door neighbours!
Yes seems to be ok so far been a lot of rumbling and running along the devider and trying to get to one another but they are settling down just giving each other a little sniff from time to time. Just need to make the run a little bigger xx
