Hiya! I have 4 piggies that I need 4 bottles for, I have basic water bottles with the ball in, its very hard to clean and can leak a lot! I'm looking into getting new ones and saw the lidded bottles in the forum, I really love these! I've seen some on amazon, the ferplast ones, has anyone used these before? And did your piggies figure it out! I'm worried if I get one they wont use it..
I'll also be happy with any links to any bottles! Just looking for a good replacement!
I also plan to switch their cage to a fully DIY cage so eventually these bottles will need to go on the inside or be easy to create a way to put them on the outside. :)

I have heard that Living World make good bottles. I use plastic ones from Pets at Home. I clean mine with hot water twice a day and use a bottle brush weekly.

I use glass ones I got from pets at home but I'm pretty sure they're the same as the living world and trixie ones. One of my pigs had always been reluctant to drink so I rubbed cucumber on the spout and that seemed to work.
The glass ones are easy to remove off the cage and put somewhere else and I haven't noticed any leaking.

Mine have all worked out how to use ferplast. Some drink much more than others but they did all work it out.

ooo! I'm very tempted to buy just one bottle to see how each pair goes with it. Which size did you get for your piggies? :O

I am very wary of the loving world glass water bottles after one failed in our boys' hutch during the heatwave of 2022. The poor little mites had given up trying to drink and we had to syringe them water. Back to the plastic Classic bottles and we can tolerate the drips if it means they never go thirsty again.

Sorry I missed this! Medium seems to work well but we had a large too, it just depends on your pigs and if they use it much, but medium is probably enough in most cases.

Thought so! I bought one and it has arrived today, already on the cage with their old bottles to see if they will figure it out! My only concern is figuring out how high the bottles should go, so its not a workout to get a drink. Will try at their normal level, but it being at the bottom might make it hard to drink from.
