Bottom layer during floor time

I started taking my girls out for floor time and because I have hard wooden floors I need a layer that won't let any pee drip through. In the cage I use puppy pads, but they can be expensive if I'm using 4 a day every day... what do other people use? On top I'm using fleece.

I used to use puppy pads under fleece. Another option is the washable puppy pads.

You can also use washable incontinence pads from Amazon - two large ones for about £13.50
I use them with fleece on top

A sheet of plastic will work and be reusable. For a temporary situation such as floor time, then putting newspaper down (with fleece on top) works well.

I use waterproof terry lined mattress protector under my fleece for floor time.
