Boxes galore!

Hehehe! I have decided I love supermarkets (tescos!) not only do they stock my piggies veggies and fruits (and of course cavy slave food) they also have:

lots and lots of:

BOXES!

My mother's face resembled something like this:rolleyes as I kindly asked the fella stocking shelves what he was planning on doing with his nice pile of cardboard boxes, in which he replied:
"Sure you can help yourself to as many as you like, are you moving house?"

"Umm their for my boys, storage and whatnot"

"Ahh they'll be more likely to be used as a make shift plane or rockets, hope they have fun with them"

Errmm yes. Teehee didnt want to tell him my boys are actually small fluffy and squeek and are about three inches high....they are also known as guinea pigs!

So my boys have three new cardboard houses to play with and two for their hay and food storage! yay!

Hehee will be picking some more up on my next weekly shopping trip!|)

I often wonder what the Tesco staff think I do with the all the empty wine boxes that I take on my way out of the shop. |)

Me too! My husband works at morrisons so we get unlimited boxes!
I always refer to the piggies as my babies, boys or girls. when i was on my hunnymoon coming home at the airport i said "oh i cant wait to see my boys" (didnt have the girls then) and a women turned round in the que and said "oh is it the first holiday you have been on without your kids?!" I just nodded and went bright red!

dont suppose you live near quinton do you? i went to that 1 the other day n they had no carrier bags so with your shopping they were giving out the massive lettuce box things they big tray shaped ones, i grabbed 3 lol althoguh ionly bought toilet roll and a magazine for the little on, n i was like io il just take a few of those, they kinda looked at me like i was mad!

Hahaha! Thats hilarious well i suppose you do need 3 big boxes for that oh so heavy toilet roll , but noes i dont live near quinton, I'm in cleveland - the tesco's near us hardly have any boxes when i usually go in will deffos have to go shopping later in the evening!

Boxes are great! You can ask in shoe stores too, boot boxes are great! Another free toy is asking for inner rolls at carpet stores. Cut up they are free chubes!
