awww mate, I'm so sorry, it seemed to happen so fast, poor guy.

Thinking of you tonight and his cagemate of course.

Rip Boxy, sleep well fella x

ps/ big hugs to you x

Oh Amanda, not another one. 8... We're losing so many of our babies at the moment. I'm so sorry. (((((hugs)))) Rest in peace Boxy. x

Really sorry, RIP Boxy run free at the bridge. You did everything you could but sometimes the kindest decision is to help them on their way.

Big hugs

Sorry to hear that you lost Boxy, but at least you know that he had a good life with you and you did everything that you could and were brave enough to do the kind thing in the end. They are just such wee things that there isn't always anything that can be done.

Paula

awww so sorry to read this about Boxy 8...
You did all you could, you know it wouldn't have been right to let him suffer.
Sleep tight little guy xx

Sorry to hear your little piggie has gone to the rainbow bridge. Now he can popcorn where pain will never bother him.

Sorry to read about little Johnny too 8...

Was thinking of you yesterday; how are you bearing up?

Am ok, but taking it a lot harder than I expected, I thought after Nigel nothing would ever be as bad but it is. Are you ok?

Bit in the same boat TBH! I did a thread in the rainbow bridge section and can now read it without crying as it's 2 pages long so I don't have to look at the pictures first to get to the replies!

I think it's easier knowing that I did the right thing for him, but it's the first pig I've ever lost, and I never knew I was so attached to the little beasts!

I have trouble looking at mine without crying too, I did it on my lunch at work so had no choice but to stay strong. I think it's always hard with the first one too.

Yeah, I think so.

I think it surprised me because I deal with death and dying on a daily basis, I'm very exposed to it at work and uni, even to the point where I made the decision to have my boyfriends cat put to sleep, raised his vein while he had the injection, then prepared him for cremation without batting an eyelid.

Maybe Boxy has proved that I'm not dead inside after all! :))

Aww Amanda I am so sorry your hurting. It is so different when it is your own little one and you are not at work. You are not dead inside at all. Do not think that.
