I was wondering if male piggies could be together in one pen, because they fight, chase and occasionally bite each other, and I didn’t know if they where under stress all the time. For a week now the male pigs are together (3male pigs and 3 female pigs are in one pen) and they are slowly getting used to it - they fight really after a week of being together and they act very casually when in the presence of other male pigs. Do you think it’s ok for the six pigs to stay in one pen?

Are the males neutered or the females spayed? If they are not, separate them immediately.

In general, you cannot keep multiple males with females, they will fight for the females.

If none of them are fixed, please separate them by gender.

If they are fixed, you can keep them in 3 pairs of one male and one female per pair.

Before we kept 1 pair in one cage( male + female) as you mentioned, so we might return to that previous arrangement. By the way the males are neutered. Thanks!
