I'm getting the impression that girls from different trees can be put together but boys cannot? I thought no pigs could be out with another that it hasn't grown up with?
Both boars and sows can totally happily live with non-related piggies and can be rebonded at all ages - provided, the bonding is done properly; preferably under expert care especially when it comes to boars. Some piggies of both genders can be fiddly as to who they want to be with, but the vast majority will find a mate of their liking. With boars, an age gap can be of advantage to minimise fall outs during the hormonal months.
On the other hand, brothers and sometimes even sisters can fall out as easily as non-related piggies. The key to a successful guinea pig is first and foremost character compatibility and not the need to be litter mates.
I have a big group of adopted sows of all ages (and introduced at different times) living with a neutered boar; the biggest rows are between my two pairs of sisters! mallethead
Trios of boars very rarely work out. Boars are often happier in pairs or one neutered boar living with a sow or group if sows.
You would be best to keep your two month old males as a pair and try and find your older boar his own friend through boar dating. Most rescues will let you take him with you and allow him to choose his own friend
