Boys And Their Veg

the outdoor run has moved into the conservatory, and the hutch too. my boys like their private space, and the individual hut works really well for them, as do separate veggie plates. hard to tell who is alpha-pig: pumpkin on the right is the shy one, but hank on the left will move away if he comes up to his veggie plate and lets him have it, hence the fact that i parked their plates right out front tonight, also because pumpkin eats really fast. while hank defers to pumpkin in some/most situations, he does chase him around (his bottom) too. there is for sure some posturing on a daily basis, especially when there is clean bedding involved, but i think they do appreciate each other too. love having them in the conservatory, just off the kitchen

yes! some fennel, carrot, two leaves of spinach each, and a baby corn split between them ...

thanks! ... though having observed them, i think i am going to also buy a hidey big enough to share, to give them the opportunity to be/get closer: hank sometimes sleeps outside where pumpkin is sleeping, whether hut or tunnel-type hidey, and i would not want them to be deprived of the opportunity to share a smaller space and cuddle up ...
