boys bits !

hello all.noticed today one of my boys sausages has kinda gone back in instead of having his foreskin there its totally disappeared and his balls look a bit deflated where as normally they are massive ! i did pop his bit out to check and it all looks ok,,,any ideas ?

I'm not an expert on this particular issue but it could be that you boy have "relieved" himself recently... If you are concerned then you need to have him looked at by a good cavy savvy vet.

that sounds about right ! both my boys seem to be doing this as I'm finding large hard lumps of how shall we say.....oh yeah,,boar glue all over the vet bed ! haha

boars can retract their testicles, so don't be too surprised if they do disappear.

i used to do a check of their 'bits' often....... just in case of hay being stuck ....... and that rotten boar glue! ugh it needs to cleaned off them and their house! :p
