I’ve got two 6 month old boys and one is turning into a real bruiser and his brother is much more svelte. They both eat tonnes, so it’s not about hogging the food etc. and maybe it’s just their different fur types making Oggie look bigger, but does anyone else have different sized brothers/sisters?

I think it's totally normal as piggies are as individual as us. As long as he's not underweight.

Piggle and Puggle are cousins born in the same hutch to sister mums a week apart, 20 months later Puggle is a dainty 900g and Piggle is a hefty muscular 1200g! Not one day of their whole lives have they had different amounts of food or exercise unless one has been ill for a couple of days...

Bill and Ted are my four year old boar brothers. Ted weighs around 1370 gms and Bill around 1280 gms, they both eat well but Ted is a bit of a pig! he takes food and stores it in his bed sometimes, then comes back for more x

I think that might be the case with mine. Although now I think about it, the slimmer pig (Finn) is the more active. If anyone is going to be jumping on top of anything or doing laps then it’s him. Oggie just tends to stand in the way or help him out with a standing popcorn 😅 maybe they have different metabolisms?!

Sounds like my guinea pig soulmate 😂

My trio (2 brothers and a cousin/half brother, not sure) are all very different sizes. Little Dude was by miles the smallest when I got them, as he was only 5 weeks old. He caught up and overtook Chicco, who is still only hovering around the 800g mark, little Dude is now just over 900g and Groucho is about 1100g (and he's Chicco's full brother). They're 2 &1/2 now so I don't think much will change.
