2 pairs of my boars have been living out in their runs this week, big run on grass and separate hutch raised off the ground, waterproof etc. for night time. Last night I came home to find 2 pairs of bedraggled boys, the inside of the hutches were dry but the pigs looked like they had been sitting out in the torrential rain! I dried them off and moved them inside, but I thought they'd be sensible enough to take shelter - 98) 98) Apparently not!

The girls, now they were sat in their house looking smug and warm! Say no more

ROFL daft thing! Maybe they liked it? ;D Girls would not do such things! 0:)

I should have taken pics - they're all longhairs, so they really looked quite comical, dreadlocks!

Am going to take some pics of the pigs today, weather is so bad that it's a good time to catch up on stuff...

Don`t mean to be a kill joy, but don`t think its a good idea to let them continue to have access to the elements, being as they will be at risk of getting wet again, because they may develop a chill :-\

must be a male thing as when we have a storm with thunder and lightning the OH is outside watching it, even hail stones he'll watch it. glad you took the boys inside and dried them. so glad the girls had sense to be in the shelter O0 hoping the boys don't come down with anything :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

lol I think its a boy thing too. My friends cat does that, he''l sit out in the rain, while his sister will take chelter int he greenhouse. Their probably just lazy boys :)
