Bramble doesn't like us anymore! :((

After sadly losing Brambles' brother a week and two days ago, we got him a new buddy (Well he was supposed to be a 'buddy') last Saturday because we didn't want Bramble to be alone for too long. Anyway, they didn't get on at all, so we now have them living side by side in separate cages. But since we have got the new boy (Was called Herbie, then Briar, now Herbert! ), Bramble won't let us touch him at all, it's like he's reverted back to being the way he was when we had only just got him, even though we've had him since last August.

Before we got Herbert, for that week, Bramble started letting us stroke him on his head quite a lot (which he didn't even let us do that much before his brother died!), but now every time we try to stroke him, he just races away from us as if we're predators all over again!

Do you think he hates us for bringing this stranger into his home? If so, I hope he will forgive us one day and that him and Herbert may even become friends.

Please don’t worry, he does like you and he isn’t mad for having another piggy in your home.
It’s just that as prey animals, some things can just take a while for them to get used to.
He will come back to how he was

Please be patient and give him time to sort himself out and adjust to the new situation; his life has rather turned upside down.

I know Bramble's had a lot to deal with and it's early days, it's just that we love Bramble so much and he never was a very cuddly piggie, but had started to get a bit more so......Until we got Herbert!
