Junior Guinea Pig

This is the first day we got her. In June last year.
They let me hold her in the store and she seemed so calm and loving.
She was a little too calm for a new pig, I didn't understand it.
I'd always had Guinea Pigs before and they take some time to get used to you....

She had been in our home for 48 hours and appeared to be sleeping a lot and I wasn't sure that she could see too well, because of the place I got her from I couldn't help but think something was wrong so rushing her to the Vets on a Sunday in a budgie box I found out that she had Conjunctivitis.
We had to give her cream on her eyes which she didn't like and it broke my heart to wake up and see her eyes shut together every morning.
BUT ITS OK!
She got better!
And it was clear that my calm and happy little girl was here to stay. Although she certainly ruled the roast.

And this is her now, my big gorgeous girl. Strong as an ox and absolutely stunning:

She has me incredibly well trained but occasionally awards me with the odd kiss:

So thats mine and Brambles journey. So far. She's only one but I have a million photos and not many places to share them. And now I've found this forum for like-minded people. Thought you'd all like to see our lives.
