hi everyone,

My guinea pigs (2 boats) are 6 months old now. One is still rumblestrutting like mad even when the other is nowhere near. There has been a couple of occasions of him being wee’d on as a result of doing it a bit too much. They don’t really go anything beyond this and can go to lying next to each other but not touching 10 minutes later. I assume this is still normal behaviour for their age? Do they have peak hormonal ages within their first 15 months?

This is normal - and very mild - behaviour. They are at the phase when testosterone output is at an all-time high but you still have got another 8 months to go before you are you are out of it.
