my OH fed peanut bread and he LOVES it.

but that is probably baked goods which is bad...

right? =[
 
I occasionally give mine wholemeal bread and they love it, never had any problems.

I give it to them approx once a month
 
I have 'occassionally' given them a small piece of multiseeded bread and some like it some don't, but its not a regular thing:)
 
I'm sure I once read that most bread is made with animal by-products - which piggies should not have. It's also very filling and may deter him from eating as much hay as he needs. *Personally* I would avoid it completely.
 
Veg, hay and pellets thats all they need. I can't see the piggys nipping down to Maccy D's for a Big Mac! :))
 
Occasionally in very small amounts would be fine... but i wouldnt give it to them. Its got quite a lot of salt in it most the time too. and possibly preseratives.. But you pigs will be fine if its just this once :)
 
My occassional btw is about 2-3 times a year, as I agree that hay, veggies, fruit and dry food is all they need... but if I go out whilst eating toast (hence why its so rare!) then they wheek and I give in....:red

You obviously havent met our lot :D

Curly likes TWO happy meals (hes got a big appetite for a pup)
Scruffy likes a small cheese burger with no gurkin (hes only little)
Tiger likes a Chicken Sandwich (hes a bit posh)
Humphrey (prefers kebabs, but is partial to a 1/4 pounder and chips, washed down with a pint of Tenants)
Jeremy, theguineapigforum whopper (has ALL of the above, with a diet coke as he's watching his weight)

Yup, sometimes when me and OH (Willy) go out for the evening, when we get back there are cans, alcopop bottles and pizza boxes everywhere, the fridge has been raided and the naughty piggies look guilty (and full!). mallethead
 
I give Sparky a tiny bit every so often as a treat as its hand made I know whats in it and he loves cracker bread as well
 
mmm chocolate lol

now..i give peanut a little bit of chocolate VERY VERY little.
he LOVEEEESSS it. chocolate pudding not chocolate bar.

and dan is worried it is bad for them along with every other animal I'm sure.
but its so good. i think its in the same category as bread lol
