After all the excirement of the last few days, the tribe was very relaxed and quiet today - including new member Fflur, who behaved like she has been a member of the tribe for ages!
(Please excuse the state of the fleece! Breakfast comes before spot clean!)

Fflur - there is a little poser in this one! :))
IMG_5007_edited-1.jpg

She is definitely a poser! and she looks so so different from her other side!

aww, she's an absolute joy i bet! love that little mouth! does she shout a lot? watch out glynis!!

Oh my! who has told this little one to say 'cheese'?

I guess, Glynis is gonna go kerplonk on this one...@) oh dear...rolleyes

Lovely pictures and I'm so jealous of your piggies, you've so many...

I guess with eight, poop patrolling is a must. With my 2, no matter what I do, there is always a pile of $#!t somewhere! grrrr but the handheld hoover comes in very handy (and on occasion sends Oliver to sleep too... :)))!

Now, what type of school trip can I organise to Coventry, something to do with learning French, of course... rolleyes

Are you sure you haven't really got two new ones? She looks like a different piggie depending on which side you look at her.
As always, fabulous pictures and she is so adorable - but then your whole little family are darlings.
I presume when you get visitors you have to do a piggie-HeadCount before they leave, to ensure there's been no pignapping ...............

Poop control goes by the handful nowadays! rolleyes My garden is going to be very fertile this year! :))

Fflur can speak up for herself quite nicely, thank you! It shows that she has been a cared-for pet before, she's not shy or nervous at all! A real delight; it looks so funny when she is with Llewelyn, as both have each one white and one coloured side...

doh, derr and mallethead! gosh, baby brains, I'm telling you! It's supposed to read 'TAUGHT' not 'TOLD'! I'm in no doubt she is her own person/piggy... well you know what I mean! or fo you? I'm confusing myself these days...

Sue G, hahaha, if Wiebke hasn't been doing it yet, she surely knows she must be doing it now! :)) what with all the pignapping threats...rolleyes

I've had to learn how to count to eight - not an easy task! - so I'm busy practising all the time to make sure that all my roaming piggies are where they are supposed to be! :)):)):))

Audrey - you are always welcome to teach my piggies to squeak in French! I MAY not take you up on an offer for a language holiday, though! :))

I am so glad that my hunch has paid off - Fflur is a blessing. xoxo

What I find ironical is that most people wouldn't consider adopting an older guinea pig - yet I lost both of my shop piggies at just three years old, and Fflur could easily live as long with me as they! I don't count the days she has left; I'm enjoying the time she's been given with me and my tribe.

no matter how much time she has left it looks like it will be spend happily what more could anyone ask,id rather a day of happiness than a life time of misery

The way to Fflur's heart is definitely through her tummy rolleyes

Lovely to see her confidently tucking in with all her new friends. She did seem to be a very laid back piggy but I didn't expect her adapt quite so quickly :)

Gorgeous photos x)

Wow, she looks like she could have been part of your tribe for years! I love the last photo particularly...what lovely lips! x

I am always amazed again at how seamlessly a perfect bonding works!

Shall we call it: "Hopeless" granny has the last laugh?

It's lovely to see her fitting in so well, like she's always been part of the Twr Gwich tribe! Fflur is a two in one pig with her different sides :)

Like your Orat, she isn't young, but still gorgeous! I love those very different two sides of her.

(PS: We haven't heard how your girls are doing lately - how is your new girl?)

So pleased for you that she has settled in so well so quickly. She looks to fit in with the rest of your piggies perfectly :)

Aww they all look so happy and little fflur has settled so well. I'm so happy for her and you. :))

Fflur is gorgeous and all the others x)

I'm a bit behind malletheadhow old is she?/

She's four years old (born October 2005) and was handed into rescue after her sister had died and her owners didn't want to get more piggies. Teresa had put her in the rescue section, because she didn't have a suitable piggy to pair Flower/Fflur with and thought that Fflur would be happier if she had a new home instead of staying on as a pensioner.

aawww she is so beautiful and very lucky :))@) my guinea whiskers is 4yrs old now and we have had her from 8wks old one side of her face is white and the other side is brown she 2 looks like a diffrent guinea on each side :(|):(|) i love the name flower x)

Oh bless them, they are all so relaxed and what a little poser she is x)

My Llewelyn is the same - two piggies in one! Only he is brown and white as well with a slightly more symmetrical face, so most people don't notice so much.

Here are Llewelyn and Fflur from above.
