My boys were fighting (no blood drawn, just a lot of dominant behaviour and a minor scuffle) so I decided to keep them separated for a few days while things cooled off.

I was watching TV and looked over to see this:

I think they miss each other :( they are breaking my heart!

I am going to try and rebond them once I have extended their cage to a 2x6 and removed the loft. Was just waiting on the rest of the fleeces drying so I could redo the cage, hence the Xmas fleece items haha. They are dry so tomorrow will be the day.

Please ignore the mess of the fleece, they managed to get broccoli and teeny bits of hay EVERYWHERE.

Awe bless them  I hope the reintroductions go smoothly x

I think it is a good idea to wait till you have the extra space. Go for a full bonding bath and see how it goes. Fingers crossed

They have been for their full bonding bath and were okay when i placed them into their run for floor time. They were so funny when getting bathed. I put them in my bath with only a little bit of water and Angus kept trying to climb on William to get away from it lol. They were aitting in the bath cuddled up, it was precious.

They are now back in their newly extended cage with clean everything, no hideys, 2 of everything etc. As well as dominance behavours, Angus keeps chasing William about and nipping his bum to the point that I keep finding bits of William's hair on the fleece that Angus has pulled out. This is normal isn't it? There is no blood being drawn. They seem a lot more active being back with each other than they were alone. For the whole of today whilst they were alone, they mainly slept and only got up to eat. William used to be the boss piggy but I'm not sure anymore, it's like a power shift. None of the dominance behaviours are relentless to the point that someone isn't allowed to eat or sleep though so I'm hoping it will be okay. They were even sharing a toy - the giant willow ball I got for them to keep them occupied! - without snapping at each other.

I guess it's just hard because William is my favourite. That's terrible to say but I picked him and my ex-partner picked Angus so I feel like William's more of my piggy than his brother is.

It must be so hard seeing this. As you say it doesnt sound like falling out behaviour. I remember seeing my rabbit Frosty bullying his brother (my fave) Snowflake so I know how it feels.
