Breeding

I know how many of you feel about breeding. I myself dont agree with breeding for profit, but breeding a male and female (obviously 2 healthy, unrelated guinea pigs of whom we know the parents and grandparents for a number of generations), then neutering the males and keeping them all together.

What are your opinions on this? I dont plan on having any more piggies for a while yet, but it was just a thought that had crossed my mind.

Although, i dont think thats a good idea. If you dont agree with it, shouldnt discussion be promoted? To educate those who do breed their pigs, either for profit or for their own pets and who might not know of the problems they could be creating.

I only asked out of interest/curiosity. Didnt realise i wasnt alowed :{
