I just can't believe it :( I had just put Bright Eyes on a white towel in the bath as it's bath time for the girls and she passed a patch of blood on the towel. I picked her up and it was on her front bottom, when I placed her back on it she passed another patch. It was the same as before quite red and mixed with wee.
I phoned the rodentologist I saw last week and she has advised me to get some cystitis relief powder for her which she has just had some off, and to get some Septrin tomorrow from my vets and she is going to see Bright Eyes tomorrow for me.
I just hope it's nothing too much to worry about :(

I am so sorry for you and Bright Eyes. Blood in the urine/cystitis is always worrying.

I have a girl with cystitis as well; and am keeping my fingers crossed that it is just that!

All the best; have you had an x-ray?

.."have you had an x-ray?"

I thought it was the pig that had the problem!!

:)) :(|) You are funny :)) :(|)
I've just phoned my vets and spoke to the receptionist who will get the vet to call back with regard to getting some Septrin. Doesn't sound hopefull though :( Does anyone know of a good piece of research or evidence that I can e-mail my vets to look at with regard to Septrin and treatment of UTI'S?

I just spoke to my vet and she is going to do some "research" about Septrin and I also e-mailed her Vedra's details and asked her to chat to her, she seemed most happy to do so. I need to ring tomorrow to speak to my vet again - I feel happy about that :)
