broadbeans ?

I have some big broad peas are they safe for piggies and what do i do do i cut them shell them etc etc i know dizzy moment for me I'm afraid today :{

I give them with the pods and all, just de string them and cut off the sharp ends. I have to say most of my pigs and my family dislike broad beans ;D

yuck i hate broad beans the taste and smell my dad allways grew loads and i was made to eat them as a child

O.H. loves them, and I have to cook them for him. The water turn out a horrible colour! I loathe them. Interesting to know they are safe for the piggies, I might try them.

We love them too - grow our own - but always pick when they are young, tender and green. When they go bigger and white they are horrid! THat is how most stores sell them because they weigh more - but they are well past their best then!
