Is it best to avoid broccoli?

I'm new to all this really and have read that broccoli can cause bloat.

Are there other vegetables to be avoided?

Ive read that a lack of vitamin C can cause paralysis in the back legs so have been giving greens every night as well as pellets with added vitamin C and plenty of hay.

Greens Ive been giving are mainly lettuce, carrots, pepper and sometimes apple. Are these ok?

What green would a guinea pig consider a special treat?

Hello welcome to the forum.
I'm not sure about broccoli and bloat but it is a gassy food so a pig that has bloat could find it an irritant. Mine love it although just have it as a treat.

There's a great shopping list on this thread of lots of things to try. Make sure you introduce one food at a time and gradually so you don't get upset tummys.

Kale, parsley, corriander, spring greens, a small amount of spinach are all very popular with my lot.

Whiskey and Noodles like broccoli. Bumble thinks its ok, JoJo the same, Pixie seems to like it, Dodge literally throws it across the hutch then pees on it....!

I consider it quite rich so tend not to give it too often, it does seem to make them poop more.

mine don't really like broccoli, but I've never heard of it causing bloat...
