Broken Front Tooth

So I’m pretty sure Reggie is trying to kill me off recently with worry.

Just walked over to their cage and one of his top front teeth has snapped halfway down. It’s a clean break from what I can see and he still seems to be eating ok.

Reggie is a prolific cage chewer and will chew a lot if he thinks he is going to get food. So I can only assume he has broken it by chewing or from getting it stuck in some food?

Will I be safe too keep an eye on him and make sure he is eating ok/not losing weight and wait for it to grow back? He seems absolutely fine in himself.

Hi! check whether the tooth is still firm or not. If it is firm, then it should regrow in a matter of days and cause no issues. If it is wobbly, then you may want to have it vet checked.

Thank you, I will try and have a good look. He is funny about me looking in his mouth after all the recent syringing! But will give it a good go!
