I would just feed him 1/8th of a bell pepper per day mine love them and they're packed with vitC I feed oxbow guinea pig food it's the best I can find so far in the states. They sell it at petsmart not petco. I find veggies are the best way to give them the C and you don't want too much Calcium that can cause problems. @helen105281
 
image.webp Hey all, here is an update. Nuggets sister(found out they are girls) passed away, couldn't fight an infection. We have learned the previous owners did not provide any nutrition and nuggets bone density is bad. She has now fractured her front leg and dislocated it. I have a strict plan with the vet after getting the X-ray and our hopes are up. She is in a splint for now. I'll let you know how everything goes

I am so sorry to hear about her sister. Glad Nuggets is getting the help she needs from the vet, keeping everything crossed for a good recovery. Is the vet advising calcium and vitamin c supplements too?
 
Nugget has now passed away. I feel cursed, it just isn't fair. He was doing great after surgery, its been almost a week since surgery. And then nothing.
