Chewy has broken his front upper left tooth :(
He seems to be eating ok & still biting the bars (probably the reason for it breaking in the first place rolleyes), just wondered if anyone has any advice - do I just leave him & keep an eye on his weight or is treatment needed? Any advice would be appreciated xx

Poor chewy.
I do believe that as long as he is still eating and what not it should be ok and will grow back on it's own

My Mimsi has broken his front teeth several times. They always grow back and he seemed fine, I just made sure I didint give him huge chunks of fruit and veggies that he couldnt bite. From what Ive read, teeth tend to grow back no **** so just keep an eye on the piggies drinking and eating..

Silly Chewy, you'd think he'd learn to stop biting the bars after he's broken a tooth because of it! It'll grow back very quickly, his remaining teeth will wear fine without any intervention. Jasmine chipped half her tooth a few years ago, probably caused by biting the bars (interestingly she no longer does this) and the tooth grew in within three days!

Eric has broken his front teeth a few times.

Normally one breaks first. It seems to change shape and direction so it meets the bottom teeth and he manages ok. Usually his other tooth will break shortly afterwards and so the bottom and top will meet properly. I don't bother taking him to the vet when this happens as he eats normally.

Eric's always had rubbish top incisors.

Just keep a close eye on weight until it grows back.
