Mowbray has broken one of her botton inscisors. Just as Melton's recovering from her abscess (and I'm suffering from £300 vet bill)! I'm considering the 180 mile round trip to the guinea pig hospital (Cavie Castle?) in Hastings for a dental?!? :(
 
Has it snapped or has it totally broken off? To be honest front teeth usually right themselves with eating. Keep a close eye on it and if it's showing signs of not growing correctly then do consider a trip there xx
 
If there is a stump, check if it's loose. If it is, she may need to see the vet.
 
There is a stump. It's the bottom one that's broken. Probably less than half left. If I leave it won't the top one grow out of control without the bottom one to grind against? I'm at work right now so can't check if it's wobbly. Going to Cavies Castle straight after work. They can do teeth without anaesthetic! Seems worth the journey to avoid the risk of knocking her out. Went there a few months ago when my girlies had wonky growth (teeth). Those guys are like the "guinea pig whisperer"!:))

Chris & Titch at Cavies Castle in Hastings are the best! They are such good people - devoting themselves to the most hopeless cavie cases. Thanks to them my girlies are happy and healthy (with fully functional teeth). x)
 
It'll grow back in less than a week, if it's still wonky once it's grown back you might want to consider having it trimmed, but if not it should be fine :)
