Broken top toofies yet again...

Yep he's done it again, SIGH, on Saturday morning i noticed he dropped his food when i gave it to him, then checked his mouth grrrrrr LH top toofie missing :'( Later that night when i was putting him to bed i had him on my lap doing a hand feed and decided to check his mouth RH top toofie missing, so the poor boy is down to two very short top toofies...... he's just managing to eat some leaves and a bit of corn and cauli but not much else so he's dropping weight quite quickly he's down to 990g this is the first time he's been below the 1000g in ages i'm so upset but know there's not much i can do till they've grown back :'( :'( :'( :'(
He's got his molar trim due on thursday so i'll get Brendan to check them out then O0 He's doing this now every couple of months wish i knew how to prevent it :( :( :( :( :(
 
aw glynis I'm so sorry to hear about dukeys toofie problems again. :'(

me and the boys are sending him loads of love and healing wheeks and hope he gets better soon

He gained a little weight yesterday a whole 8g :smitten:
He didn't whilst i was at work yesterday but when i got home i gave him some fresh leafies and then went to pickup Dee, gone for 1/2hr when i came back he was munching on everything O0 he had another couple of CC feeds and then ate quite well over night :smitten:
But he's still wheezy :( :( :(

My Basil (RIP :smitten:) used to break off his front teeth too. As long as I cut carrot etc. into tiny bits he was ok, as it's the back molars that do all the chewing, apparently. Poor Duke, hope it's not long before he's able to tuck in again!

Hi Glynis...I haven't been on line a few days and just saw about poor little Duke. How are his teeth? How is the little guy doing? I have just tried to PM you. I can't figure out how to do it! I usually just hit reply to the PM's I get. I have actually never done it on my own. I'm still trying to figure out how, in the meantime, let us know how Duke is. Did you take him to the vet?
