Brotherly love

OK, so they're clearly not brothers, but they still love each other.

The other night when Spike was having some lap/settee time, the OH sneezed and scared him. Given the choice between jumping to his mummy or Gis the cat, he chose to jump off my lap to Gis. As you can tell, Gis wasn't too impressed with this choice as he was fast asleep at the time. I only managed to get the one picture before Gis got up:
