One of my older girls has brown wee. Rosie is about 3 1/2 yrs and spayed, Pappi is 4 1/2 yrs and not spayed. Neither one of them is displaying any typical signs of a uti, there is no weight loss. In fact both of them have gained a little. They are still as active as always and eating plenty. Once I've determined which one it is they will be off to the vets but has anybody have any ideas. I am aware that sometimes when urine dries it oxidises and turns reddish-brown. The colour is present when the patches are wet. Rosie does unfortunately have a few lumps at the moment on her stomach though her vet is convinced that they are fatty rather than cancerous.

Can you see what colour it is as it comes out. Pop the girls separately in a bowl and syringe some water and wait for nature to take it's course and check on the colour fresh... We have seen wee oxidise in front of our eyes when standing.
Maybe worth getting some dipsticks to check for invisible blood too
