Hi all,

hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas!

So poor little Bruce is getting himself very stressed in quarantine. The other piggies are in another room behind closed doors, but he must be able to hear and smell them.

He’s constantly calling out to them, wheeking a lot, sitting up against the bars, and has even taken to following me around when I’m in there.

He’s been in quarantine for 8 days now. So far he hasn’t shown any signs of any respiratory issues, and no itching/signs of lice.
He’s eating and pooping lots!

It breaks my heart to hear him stressed in there alone, but I presume I’m best to just try stick out the quarantine period rather than risk him making contact with the others just yet?

Can you try putting a handful of slightly soiled bedding from one of the other piggies in Bruce's cage?
A lot of piggies find this really exciting and whilst it isn't direct contact, it can help a little - maybe like piggy texting?

Thank you, I’ve tried that, he has their bedding with smells on. I feared I made it worse as he started making more noise 🙈
