Junior Guinea Pig
So I thought I'd test my 'pig' vocab against this cornucopia of knowledge. I'm a little rusty having only owned a guinea pig for 2 weeks now after a 5 year gap. So here is what I remember.
Are there any bits that I've missed or gotten wrong?
- 'Wheak' (Slang) - "Feed me, NOW!"
- 'Wheak' (The Queen's Pig) - "I am here!"
- Single long squeak with an upward incline - "Ouch!"
- Teeth chattering - "I don't like it"
- Stretched out neck with nose in the air, usually nodding - "What's going/What's that!" (Curious)
- Bar biting - Bored/Impatient
- Rumble strut - "I'm the boss/ this is my town"
- Purring - "I'm in heaven".
- Chortling - "This is so exciting!"
- Quiet Chortling - "What are all these new things we are exploring?"
- High Pitched Chortling when hands/ piggies are near - "Don't touch me there!"
- Yawning - "I'm tired/I'm big and scary. Better not mess with me or else"
- Sitting as small as possible with whites of eye showing - "This is situation is scary!"
- Burying into a jumper/crook of arm as deeply as they can during lap time - "This is way beyond my comfort zone!"
- Popcorning/the zoomies - "Yippee, it's play time!"
Are there any bits that I've missed or gotten wrong?
