Bubbles and Benny have been bonded!

Hello!
Some of you may know that just before the easter holidays I adopted a new guinea pig called Benny (see this thread for details: https://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=86931) and after his quarintine period, I am glad to say that they have been succesfully bonded! :)

I got some pigtures of them both today, excuse the quality of them, they were taken through the mesh of their hutch.

I'm just bonding 2 today. Their cage is in the lounge so I can epwatch them but I'm actually toying with sleeping in here!
 
They really are gorgeous, especially Benny (i love seeing the markings on them). I almost COMPLETELY mis-read the title then lol

Bad news

They've had a fight :(
When I got Bubbles out to hold him just now, he has bite marks and scabs all over his back, and blood under his ear. Benny has a small cut on his nose, but is otherwise unharmed. I tried to have a closer look at Bubbles' cuts, but he got so stressed out so I put him back in the hutch and gave him some parsley.
It was going so well, but it looks like we're going to have to separate them permanently. :(
I am now waiting for my mum to get back from work so we can take Bubbles to the vets, because the scabs look pretty bad, I have tried to make him as comfortable as I can for the moment. (He is not in immediate danger, but I don't want the cuts becoming infected)
 
:( oh no, i'm so sorry but sounds like you've caught it before it got too bad! Good luck for Bubbles at the vets tonight!
 
Okay, we've just had a closer look at his scabs, and noticed some hairloss too. Bubbles keeps itching and scratching, which gives me the idea that they didnt infact have a fight, but it is some sort of skin condition and the injuries are self-inflicted? I watched Benny for a bit too, and he is scratching himself a lot as well! I am hesitant as to putting them back together though.
