I didn't want to say anything too soon but things didn't work out with Buddy and Harvey, ZombiePrincess woke up on Saturday to 2 injured boys and by Saturday night Harveys face was still swollen. The decision was made not to try them again and I fully agreed with this. However it does appear that ZP has fallen in love with the gorgeous Buddy and wanted to try him with another lone boar, Gulliver.

So its been 24 hours of them being together, them seem fairly settled and will sit side by side to eat. There's been no fall outs so far so again please send your best bonding vibes for these two.

The boys are still together. I've caught them a few times sat with each other in the hay box, but as soon as they see me Buddy legs it (he didn't mind saying hello to the cat though!)And earlier Buddy was fast asleep with his eyes closed in the igloo with Gulliver laying outside nose to nose.

Literally 10 mins ago i checked them both over thoroughly and theres still no bites or hair pulls to be seen. So so far this is looking to be a far better mix then the previous.

Speaking of which Harvey was at the vet today as the bite Bud's gave him on his face had become infected and is just a big ***** hole. I've bathed it and he's on some antibiotics, most of the pus is now out but it smells somthing chronic. Buddy is also on a tiny dose of painkillers as i found another injury from his fight with Harvey on his foot, which has left him with a slightly tender, but thankfully uninfected paw pad.

Sometimes i think i must be mad for wanting to keep only boars! They drive you a little barmy :s

I'm glad hes found someone who cant part with him. Horrible when they dont want to get on. I absolutely adored Peter, but was so upset when my Polo took a chunk out of him, so glad he has your girls now though. Boars eh? I really hope this bonding goes well for the pair of them. Sending healing and bonding vibes to the boys.

Thanks for the update ZP just so sorry to hear about Harvey, I hope he's feeling better soon.
