Happy 1st Birthday Buddy! Ok so whee aren't sure that today is his birthday but this is the one the hoomans have chosen for him. Here whee all are eating his birthday cake made of mushed up piggy pellets, shredded spinach leaves and baby carrots!

Awww thanks. It was really easy :x Just piggy pellets mushed with water and shredded spinach and sliced carrot mixed though. Then I just put it in a little pot and turned it out like a sandcastle. Easy!

Honestly though he was so outraged when Basil ran over it he just looked at the cake, then at me, then at the cake again! Then he really wheeked crossly when Basil came back to try and eat some more!

Cake went down so well I may experiment and see what else I can make! Maybe something with hay this time?! Though honestly mushed piggy food smells disgusting. I cannot see why the boys go nuts for it! :)

Stories about your little chaps always make me smile! The cakes are excellent, as a bit of a cake decorator I'm having some serious visions now about birthday cakes for piggies... @)

The boys have their gotcha day in Feb so I'll definitely do one then, and perhaps some experimenting in the meantime! I'm thinking piped carrot puree 'icing' is a good way to start.

Fab Birthday, loving the cakes. I love that Birthday's are celebrated by all, I'm a campaigner of doing something special
