Bug Found In Hay

Hello! Currently this morning I found the most disgusting thing this morning. Like usual I open the blinds and feed them. Can anyone tell me what is this or why it's in here? Brand of hay: Kaytee Timothy hay. Won't be buying this brand again due to what's is this

I can't even tell what that is! Is it a spider or something? I'd recommend doing a thorough health check for your piggies to make sure they haven't been infected by this bug/anything else living in the hay!
 
It looks like a spider of some description, but it really isn't something that can be avoided in hay. Hay is a natural product, anything in the field when it's gathered get caught up in the bales when they're drying and then sold on. You just need to check every bit of hay you put out.

Be thankful it's not been feathers, dead mice, or barbed wire, like other forum members have found in their hay.
 
How does barbed wire even get in hay? I'm checking my hay very closely from now on!
