I've been seeing some white bugs recently in my guinea pig pellets. I know that the bugs are not mites or lice. I was wondering if my guinea pigs will be ok if they had ingested some of these. Thanks

I would chuck out your food! How long have you had it for? If recently purchased, and you still have the receipt, I would take it back to the shop and complain bitterly about being sold yukky food for your piggies!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Are these bugs you found in the pellets when you opened the bag?
If so then return them to wherever you bought them and complain.
Have they arrived in a bag that’s been open and stored?
In which case If it were me I’d dump the pellets and do a thorough clean of the area with a piggy safe disinfectant.
I wouldn’t feed them to my girls but that’s a personal reaction not based on knowledge or experience.

Please do let us see pictures of your piggies

The bugs are incredibly small, they look like the bugs which eat wheat (i'm not sure what they are). I have had the bag for a while now.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I would throw those pellets away. It's best to keep pellets in an air tight container (I use a quality street tin), always use up before the use by date. I record the date on a sticky label on the tin before I throw the packet out.
