building a cage (cage walls?)

I'm building my piggies a cage.. the cage they have now is ok because there still young.. but when they get older its gonna be crowed.. so I'm buildiung them one

iv heard and seen people using the crate meshing stuff.. but i cant find it any were! 8... so iv been thinking of other ways..

right now i have a peice of plywood that in going to put 5 inch walls around, than I'm lining it with vinal flooring...

for the sides at first i though of chiken wire.. but that can be dangerous!

so instead i was thinking of using horse fencing? like this stuff..


and putting the vertical bars closer together because its thick, and they cant get hurt on it..

I'd be concerned about the size of the gaps, piggies are so inquisitive :x
I have the C & C grids for my gang of 6 but roll fleece up, place at the front of the girls pen as the little one is only 8 weeks old and tiny. Freaked she would get her head stuck although she has made no effort but I would rather be over cautious than sorry. I place pieces of correx cut to size when I'm out at work and again at bedtime - just piece of mind for me knowing she cannot come to any harm

The mesh type grids are far safer for the little ones - they also keep the bedding and hay from going everywhere.

I think they're quite common in the US. If you have a rummage around GuineaLynx, you should find where they are stocked
